Dancing Grains does what it can to contribute functional design to improve the lives of it's owners in an environmentally responsible way. It is our conscience that drives our choices in materials, our choice to continue to build with our hands, to develop valuable relationships beyond the call of business. Our conscience tells us that using sources for materials that do not diminish our primary resources makes sense, and using natural finishes sits better with us than using artificial chemicals, and keeping operations modest so that we do not contribute to the numerous types of pollution, environmental, noise, and visual, is a better recipe for success in every sense of that word.
That same conscience feels better when working with local companies, making connections at the ground level, and producing sound answers by way of networking and old knowledge passed by word. We'll continue to seek relationships with clients and other businesses that are driven by similar values and visions, because the more we develop the quality of life close to us and nourish the valuable relationships we create, the more responsible and inspiring the society we will find ourselves in.
We believe that the way we design our environments can move us in the right direction. Choosing shapes and tones that are more expansive, rather than limited, creates a growing environment--one conducive to life. Using methods of construction in our woodwork and carpentry that will endure time, and creating final appearances indicative of care will inspire the same diligence and acceptance as we relate to the world.
